INgene® q PRRS Universal is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of PRRSV RNA in samples from Swine. The assay is optimized for samples like oral fluids, lung, serum and semen. This kit detects the pathogen RNA in FAM channel and includes an Internal Positive Control (Cy5) that serves as a workflow validation control, making it a duplex real-time PCR in one-well format. In addition, the master mix contains a passive reference fluorochrome (ROX) to allow signal normalisation in the real-time PCR platforms where this is required.
